Helicopter Training: Instrument
The instrument rating teaches to fly in limited visibility, fog & clouds. You will learn to maneuver the helicopter by reference to instruments. In addition to enhancing your piloting skills, you will enhance your confidence and safety.
Many operators now require pilots to be instrument rated for employment.
FAA Requirements
- Obtain Private Pilot Certificate
- FAA 3rd Class Medical
- Pass the FAA Written Knowledge Test
- Pass the FAA Practical Test
- Log 40* Hours of Dual Instrument Time
