Helicopter Training: Flight Instructor
The Flight Instructor certificate allows you to teach others to fly helicopters. A large number of helicopter pilots started their career as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) to build hours.
FAA Requirements
- Obtain Commercial Pilot Certificate
- FAA 2nd class medical
- Pass the FAA Fundamentals of Instruction Knowledge Test
- Pass the FAA Written Knowledge Test
- Pass the FAA Practical Test
- Obtain Sufficient Dual Instruction to Gain Proficiency (No Minimum)
