Helicopter Training: Commercial
The commercial pilot certificate allows the holder to be compensated while acting as pilot in command.
Many operators now require pilots to be instrument rated for employment.
FAA Requirements
- Obtain Private Pilot Certificate
- FAA 3rd class medical, 2nd class to act as commercial pilot
- Pass the FAA Written Knowledge Test
- Pass the FAA Practical Test
- Log 150* hours of flight time (100 PIC)
